Friday night

On Friday James and I got to go out and have dinner for Ana and Strawbs' birthday. The restaurant was right down the street of where I lived when I was born. The food was good and the people we were with are awesome. It was a lot of fun we had many laughs... We were bummed we could not go to the blu monkey with everyone else cause Jenalyn was watching the kids. She did a great job watching them.

Feeling better

Today I actually feel way better since I came down with the flu. I hope it stays that way... The kids had fun at downtown Disney, jaylene used her build a bear card that my brother and Melissa gave.

Ringing the New Year

2010 was a great year for our family, it went by so fast that I'm trying to capture it all now. First James and I finally tied the knot in october, it was very simple and not at all stressful the kids where all there including my brothers, my closest friends and some of James family. The kids are growing up sooooo fast Jenalyn is a junior in high school getting great grades I just wish she was just a little more proactive with her plans for her future. Jaylene is in 3rd grade and in mr. Brittions class which she loves, her diva like ways at school are slowly disappearing. thank goodness! Jarred my lil baby is now in kindergarten in mrs. Wellen's class he is very happy and talks a lilttle too much! He thinks he is mr. Cool guy! Lol... James has been really busy at work so that is always good. This past week I've been really sick, I have not gotten this sick in many years!!! I actually went to the ER today. The dr and staff where awesome! I'm praying that the meds he gave me will get me better asap! Since the kids wanton vacation they have gotten sick and we have not been able to do anything fun. James took them out yesterday to long beach then he took them out today to downtown Disney. They must be having a blast!

I love Fashionista!!!

This week has been super busy, but with all the buying I've been doing I need to show a lil' something with all the scrapping supplies I have so I don't look like a scrapbook hoarder!LOL! This new line from graphic 45 is my fav right now, I need more pictures to scrap with this paperbut here is one LO I did this past weekend.....

I can't believe we are already in Febuary already! Here is what I've done in the month of January..

• Took a 7gypsies class at The Table. Jen and Tiffany were soo great with me and I won a puncher!!!



• My Godson celebrated his first birthday! He such a great baby he doesn't cry very much and he just chills.


• I went to CHA!!!!!! This was surreal for me, this was my first time and the people I went with were awesome! It was goodtimes! There was soo much inspiration and creativity my mind was on overload. lol! I got to meet some famous scrappers, designers and the booths were tooo cute!!
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Nolan turned 2yrs old this month! I've been wactching him since he was 6 months old! Watching him turn into the little man has been a joy... He use to cry a lot when he was younger but now he's the best two year old that I have experienced, not many can say that about two year olds! lol!! He listens to me, he keeps his tanturms to a minimum, he's happy all the time except for when he just wakes up or he's sick. His vocab is growing everyday!!!





• Went to a crop hosted by Tammy I @ The Scrappin Table.. (aka" The Table") This was super fun! Laughs all night my face was hurting from laughing too hard!




• One of my close girlfriends got engaged this month! I'm soo honored to be one of her bridesmaids. I'm really happy that she found love!!!

December 31 - My mom and my sister came down and took us out to lunch then we dropped Jenalyn off to her dad's. In the evening, we drove to San Diego to his mom's house and we spent new year's eve there.

January 1, 2009- Woohoo... New Years Day! We went to Legoland! Boy is this place expensive! My mother in law was nice enough to pay for one person in each family so that was cool. It was busy but not like disneyland busy.. It was suuppperr cold though. We had lots of fun.

In the morning we cleaned and reorganized the kids stuff. Then we out to lunch in Cerritos with James's family. After eating we got tired and went home to take a nice nap. In the evening we went to Jasmine and Tony's house for a surprise birthday party and to pass out christmas gifts. The kids had soo much fun there that when it came time to go home they wanted to sleep over! James was not ready for them to sleep over there though..heeehee

I picked up Jenalyn from her dad's , dropped some stuff at goodwill them we just chilled at home. In the evening me and my girls went over to my friends house for a christmas party. Being a lagger for everything I was rushing out the door because I had planned on meeting my friend Meg at the Ralph's in Diamond Bar so we could buy some stuff for the party. Well I got in the car and there was hardly any gas but I was like, ugh.. I think I can make it to Diamond Bar so we leave and we have not left our block and the light was already on but I hop on the freeway any and we exit Diamond bar blvd. cause there is a gas station there, so I ask Jen to give me my purse and she tells me it's not here so I start asking her for her purse cause I know she got a lot of money for Christmas and she tells me she did not bring it!! So then Jaylene my 6 year-old goes "mom I brought my purse and it has money in it!" I grab for her purse and sure enough she had $25.00 in it! I borrowed $10.00 for gas. We finally got to Ralph's and Meg was nice enough to pay for everything we got for the party!

The party was fun, I got to see a lot of people that I have not seen in a long time...

James took us out to 2nd street in Long Beach for come Crab Pot.

We walked around and bought some candy at this cool candy shop. It carried a lot of the old skool candy you can't find any more it was like walking down memory lane. Then James took us to CSLB so he can show the kids where the pyramid was and where he went to school. When we got home I left to Baldwin Park to pick up my sister so she can spend some time with us before she goes back to school.

I took the kids to the mall so they could spend their christmas money and gift cards. It was soo packed the little kids (Jaylene, Jarred and Nolan) and I ended hanging out on the couches waiting for Jenalyn and my sister to finish. We stayed at the couch for an hour because I left my phone at home so I could not call them. When they finally arrived Jen handed me a bag and it had a black wallet for me! They said they went to alomst every single store looking for it and they finally found it at the last store they went into. My sister even paid for some of it! awwww... how sweet is that!!!

We stayed home all day then in the evening James and I took the kids to my mom's house and we went out on a very much needed alone time. We ate at HOOTERS, the garlic shrimp there is da BOMB! Then we went to Best Buy and Barnes & Noble. Can I just say that I really love hanging at the bookstore I can stay there for hours!
